As you all know Tripp is a G-Man. However, when the Giants are not playing he is allowed to humor his daddy and route for the Cowboys. For months I have been able to disguise the truth to all of my husband's southern family by pointing out that my brother, Chris -Tripp's Uncle and Godfather, has showered Tripp in Giants gear; not I. Therefor allowing the Cowboy fans to believe that there was a chance that Tripp could ever love their team. This false hope, my NY pride and Bob's whining to his sister, Goldie -Tripp's Aunt and Godmother, inspired her to send Tripp his very own Dallas Cowboys jersey. Bob was so excited to see his son in his favorite team's colors he put the jersey on him as soon as it got here! Finally Tripp has a Cowboys jersey to wear on game days. It was clear, this was truly a proud moment.
So I am using this post as my opportunity to apologize to my southern in-laws.
I should've been honest with them from the beginning......the truth is, you don't have a chance.....

Its such a shame that Tripp can not even wear a valid Cowboys jersey. If you kept up with the off season, you would have realized that #21 J.Jones of the Dallas Cowboys is no longer on the Dallas Cowboys. Now you may argue that #21 T. Barber of the New York Giants is also no longer on the New York Giants however T. Barber left the Giants by retiring on the TOP OF HIS GAME. Therefore validating Tripps ability to wear the #21 of the New York Giants unlike #21 of The Dallas Cowboys who left the team for more money with a better team.
Now just so we are all clear here I don't need to point out but I will for Tripps Southern Family that last year (2007-2008) not only did The New York Giants WIN THE SUPERBOWL they also sent the Cowboys packing in the NFC Championship Game. Once again proving that The New York Giants are the far superior team and the Cowboys are nothing but lowly imitation of a NFL team who also have their star receiver under increasing scrutiny from the league.

P.S.: Don't worry Marisa, I know you'll have him in the Giants gear soon once again as we don't need to flaunt it during the off season (and if he does need a new jersey just remember the next one comes with a Super Bowl champions logo on it).
