Labor Day Weekend

We enjoyed our Labor Day Weekend and kept a busy schedule! On Saturday we headed out to the stores. Our mission: buy some new toys for Tripp

Yes, he is already demanding that we buy him things. We also had a gift card to Chili's - thanks to one of my many good deeds ....... I helped someone out with a video project - so we decided to make a day of it and swing by Cabello's to show Tripp the animals.

Cabello's is an Outdoors Store. They cater mostly to hunters so the store is decorated with taxidermy animals. Kind of creepy - but they are displayed on full background sets, so it is kind of like a Museum with a giant gift shop! Tripp loved looking at the animals

Labor Day was time to visit the Splash Park & Willimantic River before it closed for the season.


We went with our new friends and neighbors Ron & Terri & their boys Derek & Dominic. Michelle, Sean and their kid, Robby & Aidan joined us too!

Then it was time to go home and relax for a BBQ in the backyard & to play with new toys!

Thanks to Craig's List, we were able to score this sweet Cozy Coupe ride and
a rockin B-Ball hoop! What's happening to our backyard?!?
