April, Rob & Talia's new home!

April is a fellow Art teacher at GHS and we were pregnant together.

Giants, baby!

On Sunday we were happy to watch the
NY Giants beat the Pittsburgh Steelers!
Football is a Sunday tradition in the Copley house and Tripp is an eager participant! He loves to yell Go! Go! Go! at the screen and we are working on the chant
Go! Giants, Go!

MMMmmmm....football food :-)

Yummy !

Oh, sooooo fulllllllllllllll!!!!!!!!

Usually Daddy is a Cowboys fan, but when their game isn't on our East Coast TV, he happily routes for my boys in blue!

Tripp has a Football tradition -
he drags the art easle into the living room so he can
create his own plays!
At this rate he'll have designed his own playbook by age 4!

Our little quarterback

Tripp was pooped after an exciting end to the game!

This weekend, Giants -VS- Cowboys, our favorite game of the season!

Stayed tuned for pics with multiple costume changes....we haven't decided how we will handle this game.......change jerseys for each possession? per touchdown? just cut them in half & sew them back together into an awesome 1/2 & 1/2 jersey?!?!

Jack the Dragon

Meet our new Friend, Jack, a 5 year old bearded dragon.

When our friend, Marissa (I know, cool name), told us about this Dragon -Jack, who needed a new home...we thought about it. Then when Bob found a 50 gal fish tank and stand on the side of the road, it was a match!

Tripp was immediately interested in Jack.

Kiss?
(Don't worry Grandma, he didn't kiss him)

Don't worry Cedar, you're still my #1 girl!

Jack's old home.....

......Jack's new home

Just hanging with Jack

Introducing Jack to Cedar....so far, so good!

He is currently having a hard time adjusting to his new home. It could be that our home is drafty -and he is a desert animal. Or, perhaps he has high stress due to his newest animal friend, Cedar. Can you believe she stares at him all day long?!.....If you know Cedar, you're not surprised!
Tripp adores him and always wants to look at him and touch him. He loves feeding time and "walking" Jack around the house - we have a lizard leash. Tripp even says "ack!"
So, we shall see....if Jack is not a good fit, we have found a local breeder who would love to get his hands (and his females) on Jack!

All in the family

There is this great, embarrassing story from my
father's childhood.......he had a big head. !
(That's where he stores his massive brain!)

Ciro Capano 1952

Well, one day my Pops stuck his head through the fence at his Grandparent's home...........
he got stuck. Yes, stuck! I won't go into specifics but I'm sure you can guess what happened next.

So, I guess it's in the Capano blood. A family of daredevils!

Video mania!

Tripp has the beat!

He isn't the best baby dancer we've ever seen but, he still likes to move & grove!

Daddy's musical skills are obviously rubbing off on him as well. He loves banging on the drums, strumming the guitar and shaking the maracas!

Columbus Day Fall Festival

For our Columbus Day -Day off from school, we decided to go to Buell's Farms for their annual Fall Festival full of hay rides, music, pumpkin & apple picking and much more!

To make this day even better, our good friends Beth, Sydney & Cooper decided to join us!

A quick hayride to the pumpkin patch

Sydney & Cooper already got their Halloween pumpkins so, Our mission: to find the perfect "Tripp size" pumpkin! Sydney was on the case!

All of these pumpkins are too big!

...But, they're perfect for some pumpkin patch pictures!

Then we decided to venture over to the actual pumpkin patch. We had been in the "already picked and nicely displayed in the grass area" Once we discovered the remnants of the patch it wasn't long until we found it! A "Tripp sized" pumpkin!

On the hayride back to the festival, Tripp insisted on sitting by himself with his pumpkin - quite the independent fellow!

Tripp's first Caramel Apple - he loved it!

Time for some apple picking!

(Tripp is still munching on that apple!)

Signing "Apple"

Snacking on apples and listening to some local bluegrass -
what a great way to end the day!
