What a day!

Yesterday was bright and sunny, so Tripp and his daycare crew decided to play outside! Tripp loved the slide and skootches his butt so he can
go down the slide all by himself!

Hanging on the playground with his buddy Melvin

When we got home, it was time to go across the street to the Elementry School and try the big kid slide! Tripp loved every second of it and is such a little dare devil.

Look Ma, No Hands!!!

Then home for some juice.......

....some light reading.....

Then off to Tripp's first Art Opening!

When will we get to go outside and play?!

Tripp is so ready to explore and curious about the great outdoors. The days are on and off between good weather and bad. We go for many weekend walks and red wagon rides, but it's just not enough! We can't wait for the nice weather to arrive, the grass to grow and flowers to bloom so Tripp can have fun exploring the yard and go on some camping trips!
We think he is going to love the great outdoors as a 1 year old!

Don't worry Cedar, summer will be here before we know it!

kiddie pool

Today was our first day of baby swimming lessons.
We went with our friends Erin & Lukas. Unfortunately the water was really cold so the babies couldn't stay in for long. (Hopefully next week they will have the heater on!)
The boys enjoyed the time they spent in the pool.

Horsing around in the locker room.

Nice and warm!

An after swimming snack.

Yummy Apple!

Happy Easter!

This year we had Easter at our house. Grandma, Grandpa & Uncle Brian all made the journey from Long Island to spend Easter with us. Tripp was very excited to show off some of his new tricks like walking (about 4 -5 steps at a time) and eating big people food.

For his birthday, Grandma & Grandpa Capano got Tripp a Red Wagon. He loves going for rides in it, so when the Grands and Uncle Brian arrived, red wagon fun was sure to follow!

Even Uncle Brian got in on the Red Wagon Fun!

We had so much fun playing with the red wagon that we forgot to go get Tripp's picture taken with the Easter Bunny.......so Grandpa became our substitute Bunny!

Grandpa is silly!

Chillin with Grandma

Grandpa teaching Tripp yet another bad habit!

Our little Easter Bunny

Tripp enjoys his Easter feast of ham, green beans and potatoes. We can only give him a little at a time because he stuffs all of the food into his mouth at once and stores it in his cheeks!!!

In the immortal words of Bill Cosby...." Dad is great. Give us some chocolate cake!"

Tripp loved his first taste of chocolate!

I'm 1!

Tripp is 1 year old!

Wow, we still can't believe it has been an entire year since Tripp entered our world. He is so wonderful and we enjoy watching him grow, develop and explore everyday. Where does the time go?!

(I thought it was appropriate to use some birthday-suit pictures to show how much he's grown.)

at 2:59am.....

Last year, at this time (9:10pm).....Bob was loading me and my hospital bag into the car. Tripp was ready to enter the world and there was no talking him out of it! We made it to Hartford Hospital around 10pm and were admitted immediately.
.....at 2:59am Tripp was born.

Our beautiful little boy.

We are so blessed to have Tripp in our lives.

Fighting Irish

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Everyone at daycare got one of these cool shamrock tattoos!

Every good Irishman needs a redhead at his side!
