Sick-O Tripp-O

My Poor Baby!

Yesterday when we returned home from a fun day of playing, Tripp went down for a nap.
2 1/2 hours later I decided to wake him up. My baby only takes 30min - 1 hour naps! Something must be wrong! At first I thought he was just tuckered out from a long day, but when I woke him up......he was on fire! Fever of 102.3!!! So we started the routine: Luke warm bath, loose clothing, plenty O liquids, baby Tylenol and lots of snuggling.

Today we went to the doctor and no worries, this is just Tripp's first cold. 2 days shy of 13 months and this is his first serious, gotta stay home cold - Not bad.

Tripp loves to steal my cell phone, so I gave him my old one. This kept him happy for about an hour,.... opening it, closing it, pressing buttons (with beeps and all!) and of course walking back and forth...then he remembered he was sick and my little cuddlier resurfaced.

Today we hung out with our friends Erin & Lukas.

First we went to Rockin Story time at the library, then a nice walk around the town green.

Then off to Lukas's house for some lunch and playtime!

It has been so beautiful out lately and we are taking full advantage!

I use to carry Tripp but recently he has shown a great fondness for his stroller.

He likes to lounge, munch on cheerios, sip on water and look out and observe nature while out on our walks.

Stroller height also = Cedar height.

Oh the joys of being able to reach out and pet your dog!

Yup, he definitely has a sweet tooth...he gets that from both of us.

It was a beautiful day again today, so we decided to go for a walk and stop by the playground for a little slide time! Tripp was veryexcited to show his new moves off to Daddy!

What a day!

Yesterday was bright and sunny, so Tripp and his daycare crew decided to play outside! Tripp loved the slide and skootches his butt so he can

go down the slide all by himself!

When we got home, it was time to go across the street to the Elementry School and try the big kid slide! Tripp loved every second of it and is such a little dare devil.

When will we get to go outside and play?!

Tripp is so ready to explore and curious about the great outdoors. The days are on and off between good weather and bad. We go for many weekend walks and red wagon rides, but it's just not enough! We can't wait for the nice weather to arrive, the grass to grow and flowers to bloom so Tripp can have fun exploring the yard and go on some camping trips!
We think he is going to love the great outdoors as a 1 year old!


Don't worry Cedar, summer will be here before we know it!
