A weekend of firsts.
First bee stings....
2 of them! We were out on a walk and as usual we cut through the school to stop at the playground. On our way home, Tripp started screaming! I ran over to discover 2 bees on his back with their stingers still in him!.
Luckily, he is not allergic. They never grew any larger than mosquito bites and he was back to himself in no time......just long enough for a good cry.
On the bright side - at least we weren't on a backpacking trip for his first bee stings!
His first bandaide-able boo-boo....
While helping Daddy gather wood for the evening campfire, Tripp fell down and skinned his finger. It was pretty bloody, we had to cut the dead skin off, and apply hydrogen peroxide and bacitracin. He's a trooper and in no time he was back to enjoying the evening festivities!
