Columbus Day Fall Festival

For our Columbus Day -Day off from school, we decided to go to Buell's Farms for their annual Fall Festival full of hay rides, music, pumpkin & apple picking and much more!

To make this day even better, our good friends Beth, Sydney & Cooper decided to join us!

A quick hayride to the pumpkin patch

Sydney & Cooper already got their Halloween pumpkins so, Our mission: to find the perfect "Tripp size" pumpkin! Sydney was on the case!

All of these pumpkins are too big!

...But, they're perfect for some pumpkin patch pictures!

Then we decided to venture over to the actual pumpkin patch. We had been in the "already picked and nicely displayed in the grass area" Once we discovered the remnants of the patch it wasn't long until we found it! A "Tripp sized" pumpkin!

On the hayride back to the festival, Tripp insisted on sitting by himself with his pumpkin - quite the independent fellow!

Family Hike

It was a beautiful day and Tripp was demanding to go outside, so we decided to go on a hike. To our surprise, Tripp was uninterested in climbing into the backpack - he wanted to hike!

A Full Day -O-Fun!

He has received tons of compliments on his vest! It is adorned with Bob's old Boy Scout and Band patches and a couple of Grandpa Bob's old Air Force patches.

On Sunday, we started our day at the Willimantic Food Co-Op's

Annual Downtown Country Fair

They had a wooden unicycle horse and a chariot for the kids to ride on

Listening to the live music - they played a kid's set :-)

It's time to start wearing long sleeve PJs again! So we pulled out his Go! Diego Go! jammies and he has almost grown out of them!If he lifts his arms, his belly hangs out and the crotch is pretty snug around the diaper zone. Looks like it time to go shopping again for our Big Boy Tripp!
